STORCITO supports rural communities in developing inclusive, climate-neutral solutions across wildfire resilience, community energy, and mobility. My role focuses on the technical assessment of carbon capture, utilization, and storage within the community-energy work.
The work examines technology configurations, energy and material requirements, techno-economic performance, environmental impacts, infrastructure conditions, and deployment constraints. Its purpose is to identify CCUS pathways that are technically credible and context-appropriate for rural regions in Europe.
