ICU Sustainability and UV-C Disinfection

This project compares conventional disposal of unused ICU consumables with UV-C disinfection workflows. The study combines bedside cart workflow analysis, material flow assessment, clinical waste quantification, and national upscaling scenarios.
The work provides evidence for impact reduction across climate, water, and material categories and supports reuse strategies under the Dutch Green Deal for Sustainable Healthcare.
